What We Do - Our Services

What services do you provide?

Strawberry Solutions empowers Education providers to enhance their business through technology. Our expert team does this by creating beautiful and engaging user experiences that improve learning outcomes and achieve business results.

What is involved in SCORM Authoring?

SCORM Authoring. We’ll future-proof your course material with SCORM. SCORM allows you to create an engaging student experience. You can use different authoring tools to create interactive modules, then translate them easily to your LMS so they work perfectly together.

SCORM also supports branching scenarios and interactive games, to create a truly immersive learning experience. It’s what today’s students expect. Our team consists of a talented crew of graphic designers, instructional designers, animators, video editors, voiceover artists and eLearning developers who create sophisticated, multimedia SCORM output.

Once the content is created, we will export it as a SCORM package which can be uploaded to your LMS and delivered easily to your online students. Even if you change LMS in the future, your SCORM package can be uploaded into the new one, meaning you don’t have to create courses from scratch.

What is involved in Learning Design?

We’ve been developing and delivering eLearning solutions for over a decade for our wide range of clients. We’ve got our 5-step process down to a fine art: Consultation, Design, Development, Quality Assurance, and Handover.

Our end-to-end solutions will guide you through each stage of the process, with comprehensive training ensuring that you get the utmost from your systems once they’re implemented.

What specific projects and features can you handle?

Specifically, we are able to tackle projects that involve instructional design, content curation, gamification, graphic design, animation, video production, synchronous learning, and more.

Are your solutions off-the-shelf or tailor-fit for each client?

Ultimately, our team is well-equipped to customise learning solutions for you, fully understanding your unique needs, opportunities, and challenges. We will strive to deliver your ideal learning programs while working with the technologies and systems you’ve already invested in.

Naturally this range will vary depending on the level of refinement involved. For reference, eLearning development costs vary depending on the ff.

Working With Us (SLAs) - Client Onboarding

How much time does it take to complete an elearning development project?

The timeline for any project always depends on how big the scope is, how urgent the project is, and how complex its moving parts are. As a standard benchmark, project will have a minimum of 4 weeks of lead time.

Most of this time is going to be dedicated to back-and-forth communication, to ensure we have your exact specifications and needs in mind. This time will depend entirely on the client’s current learning resources, needs, and ways-of-working.

Throughout the process, we will provide you with progress updates and showcase sample work-in-progress outputs to ensure alignment every step of the way.

How do we measure the success of an elearning program?

The Kirkpatrick Model is a globally recognized method of evaluating the results of training and learning programs. It assesses both formal and informal training methods and rates them against four levels of criteria: reaction, learning, behavior, and results.

The first level of criteria is “reaction,” which measures whether learners find the training engaging, favorable, and relevant to their jobs. This level is most commonly assessed by an after-training survey (often referred to as a “smile sheet”) that asks students to rate their experience.

Level 2 gauges the learning of each participant based on whether learners acquire the intended knowledge, skills, attitude, confidence and commitment to the training. Methods of assessment include exams or interview-style evaluations.

Level 3 measures whether participants were truly impacted by the learning and if they’re applying what they learn. This is one of the most crucial steps in the Kirkpatrick Model The final level,

Level 4, is dedicated to measuring direct results. Level 4 measures the learning against an organization’s business outcomes— the Key Performance Indicators that were established before learning was initiated.

Working With Us (SLAs) - Project Process

How does your process look like?

Our project process consists of 5 stages. These are set out below.

Consultation + kick-off. Our process begins with a kick-off meeting. During this stage we consult with you in order to understand your operating environment. This includes developing a clear understanding of your: Objectives and goals; Target market and learner profile; Stakeholder requirements; Statutory obligations and constraints; Course structures– to name a few,

Design. The foundation information provided throughout the consultation forms the basis for our proposed solution, including the potential flow of content and logical navigation structures. The design phase captures both instructional and visual design.

Prototype. During this stage we develop a prototype (or sample unit) that aligns with the approved design concept and project objectives. We employ the use of modern technological eLearning tools to build solutions that align with the client’s requirements. This includes native LMS functionality, external plugins and LTIs, SCORM authoring tools, video conferencing solutions, video creation tools, and graphic design software.

Development. During the development stage we build the remainder of the units (or modules) according to the approved prototype. Each is sent to the client for review upon completion.

Delivery. During this final phase, the client reviews the product and provides feedback, allowing opportunity for further refinements to be made. Source files are handed over to the client before final sign-off.

Working With Us (SLAs) - Managing Changes

What are opportunities for providing feedback on outputs?

We have an open communication with all of our clients. We appreciate feedback anytime throughout the process. Formally, there are many opportunities for feedback:

(1) during the consultation process, we can talk about your vision for the project, the objectives you want to accomplish, and the pegs you have in terms of visuals and experience;

(2) during the prototype milestone, you can provide specific and detailed feedback on a sample build so it reflects on the rest of the project.;

(3) throughout the development process, you can work with us to continuously refine the work;

(4) through a change form, if there are major pivots in the brief or project specifications; and

(5) upon delivery, to cater to smaller tweaks and refinements.

Is Strawberry Solutions a platform?

No. Strawberry Solutions is an eLearning developer and a boutique consultancy offering education providers assistance with: eLearning development, eLearning design, instructional design for authoring if original content, LMS consulting and support, learning design and strategy. We work with in-house and open source learning platforms to develop solutions that fit your unique case.

Off-the-shelf SCORM vs Strawberry Solutions. How to choose the right solution for you?

While off-the-shelf eLearning is already available and easy to come buy, it may come with certain limitations that you need to be aware of. Just like any product or service that is commodified, it tends to lack in the following areas:

(1) Relevance to unique use case. No two organisations are exactly alike. Custom learning allows partners like us to develop courses your way.

(2) Topics are fluid. Complex topics require a bit more sophistication. Often, this gets lost from off-the-shelf solutions.

(3) Production value. Off-the-shelf solutions tend to go for the generic approach and so the quality tends to be pretty standard. Custom solutions allow for higher production value and tends to be a lot more engaging.

Off-the-shelf solutions are great for generic courses, extremely urgent timelines, and smaller investments. Custom learning on the other hand is great for engagement, learning impact, and overall production value.
